About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team. You’ll create, develop, and edit operational, instructional, and maintenance procedures for publication in multiple formats. This role involves interviewing users and technical staff, researching information, and translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly manuals and web-based documents.
This is a great opportunity to develop your writing skills while working on meaningful projects. Full training will be provided, and you’ll have support as you learn industry practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Organize and complete writing assignments according to established standards for clarity, style, and terminology
• Maintain records and files of your work and revisions
• Edit and standardize materials prepared by other writers
• Conduct interviews with users, technical staff, and stakeholders to gather information
• Select and organize visual elements (photographs, diagrams, charts) to illustrate content
• Review published materials and recommend improvements to format and content
• Observe technical processes and activities to document procedures accurately

• Ability to write clear, detailed reports and correspondence
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to gather, research, and analyze information
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic mathematical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to learn new tools and technical concepts
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
No prior technical writing experience is required. We welcome applications from those new to the field who demonstrate strong writing ability and a commitment to learning.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum basic knowledge of technical documentation practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety procedures
