We are seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Writer to help develop clear, persuasive proposals that showcase organizational capabilities and solutions. In this role, you will craft compelling content tailored to client needs and project requirements. Your work will help translate technical information into engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Full training will be provided—no prior proposal writing experience is necessary.
What You’ll Do
Develop proposals by gathering information from team members and translating it into clear, compelling content aligned with client requirements. Edit and proofread proposal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency. Organize and manage proposal content using documentation tools and content management systems. Create visual aids such as diagrams and charts to enhance proposal clarity. Research client industries, competitors, and market trends to inform proposal strategy. Interpret technical information into accessible language suitable for different audiences. Collaborate with team members—including technical experts, project managers, and designers—to produce persuasive proposals under deadlines. Maintain records of proposal versions and feedback for continuous improvement.
Skills/background needed
Strong writing skills and command of English language conventions. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for document creation. Ability to edit and proofread for clarity in technical content. Skill in interpreting technical information and translating it into engaging, accessible content. Familiarity with diagramming tools for creating visual illustrations. Basic graphic design skills or willingness to learn design software. Strong research ability to gather relevant information from credible sources. Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams.
