We’re looking for an entry-level writer and journalist to create engaging news content across multiple platforms. You’ll write, edit, and present stories in a clear, compelling way for audiences online and beyond. Full training will be provided – no prior experience necessary.
What you’ll do:
Write and edit news stories and content for web and social platforms; conduct interviews (live and recorded); research and coordinate news stories; assist in content production and editing; respond to breaking news and urgent situations; interact with audiences on social media; meet daily deadlines and manage multiple tasks at once.
Skills/background needed:
Strong writing and communication skills; ability to research and verify information; basic experience with video or multimedia content a plus but not required; comfortable working to tight deadlines; valid driver’s license preferred. A background in journalism, communications, or a related field is helpful but not essential – we’ll train you on the job.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent.
