Roles: We are looking for a beginner-friendly scientific writer to help turn complex research ideas into clear, readable content. This is a fully remote role with full training provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
What you will do:
Write and edit scientific documents such as research summaries, reports, and supporting materials. Help prepare grant applications with clear, well-structured writing. Work with researchers to gather information and make sure content is accurate. Create simple educational materials such as presentations and web content. Keep templates and style guides organised, and manage several writing projects at once while meeting deadlines.
Skills/background needed:
A high school diploma or equivalent is a good starting point; a degree in a science or writing field is welcome but not required. You should be comfortable writing and proofreading in clear English and willing to learn how to translate technical information for different audiences. Basic familiarity with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and email is helpful. Full training is provided for everything else.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
