We’re looking for a contract Technical Content Writer to create clear, compelling written content across our public channels. You’ll communicate technical research and company updates through social media, blog articles, founder content, and other public-facing materials.
You’ll work closely with our marketing team, founders, and researchers to turn ideas, technical developments, and updates into accessible writing for audiences ranging from technical experts to prospective team members.
What you’ll do:
Write and adapt content for social media accounts, maintaining a consistent voice across platforms. Develop blog posts covering research, industry perspectives, company updates, and team stories. Turn technical findings and conversations with experts into accurate, accessible content. Draft thought leadership pieces, announcements, and hiring posts. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine messaging and incorporate feedback. Adapt ideas across channels to suit different audiences and formats. Verify claims, maintain editorial quality, and meet agreed deadlines.
Skills/background needed:
Experience writing for a technical organization in AI, software, or data infrastructure. Working understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with ability to research and explain technical topics clearly. Strong writing and editing skills across social media, long-form articles, and company communications. Ability to adapt between different voices and write for both technical and non-technical audiences. A portfolio demonstrating clear thinking, strong storytelling, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage a part-time workload.
Contract length: Six months, approximately 10–15 hours per week to start, with potential to expand based on content needs.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
