About the role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our manufacturing team. You’ll develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, procedures, work instructions, and maintenance guides. Your writing will help production personnel build high-quality products efficiently and effectively.
This is a collaborative role where you’ll work with assembly operators, supervisors, engineers, and quality assurance teams to ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and easy to follow.
What you’ll do
• Develop and maintain technical process documentation including procedures, work instructions, and guidance documents
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate technical accuracy
• Maintain consistency in format, terminology, and document structure
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to standardize documentation practices
• Provide technical support to engineers on documentation-related tasks
What we’re looking for
• High school diploma or equivalent post-secondary qualification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Nice to have
• Manufacturing or industrial experience
• Experience with photo editing software
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies
