We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and help create clear, accurate process documentation that supports our operations. This is an entry-level role perfect for someone ready to develop their technical writing skills in a structured environment.
About the Role:
As a Technical Writer, you’ll write, edit, and maintain process documentation that keeps our operations running smoothly. You’ll work with teams across the company to understand their processes, translate complex information into clear written guides, and ensure all documentation stays consistent and up to date. While you’ll receive general guidance on new assignments, you’ll be expected to manage your day-to-day tasks independently, making this a great opportunity to develop your self-direction and time management skills.
What You’ll Do:
• Write, edit, and maintain clear process documentation following company standards and guidelines
• Work with teams across the company to learn their processes and translate them into written documentation
• Create and maintain process flow charts
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Follow document control and quality guidelines to ensure all documentation meets compliance standards
• Upload and manage files in the document control system
• Support multiple projects at once and manage deadlines effectively
• Mentor other writers as the team grows
Skills/background needed:
• Strong writing and grammar skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Experience creating or working with flow charts
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word and standard authoring tools
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• A degree in communications, writing, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design tools is helpful but not required
• Experience in a regulated industry or with quality documentation standards is a plus
