We’re looking for original, community-focused storytellers to join our editorial team as volunteer writers. This is a fully remote, work-from-home opportunity for anyone who enjoys meeting people, asking questions, and following an idea through.
Roles: Volunteer Feature Writer
What you’ll do:
• Write original features, interviews, and people-focused stories
• Create first-person pieces and profiles of local people and organisers
• Develop place-based features with depth and context
• Work independently and meet agreed deadlines
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience required. We welcome people who are passionate, eager to learn, and have ideas they want to share. Full support and training are provided as part of the team. You should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable communicating clearly.
Contract length: Minimum three-month commitment, with at least one original article per month.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
