Are you interested in using your writing skills to help develop clear and helpful technical documentation? We’re looking for a technical writer who can work alongside subject matter experts to create documentation that helps both internal teams and customers understand complex technical concepts.
As a technical writer, you will collaborate with specialists and developers to take technical documentation from initial concept through to publication. You’ll work on documentation covering a range of topics including cloud platform services, on-premises systems, and procedural guidelines.
In this role, you’ll translate complex subjects and processes into clear, accessible guidance material. You’ll help readers understand how individual concepts connect to the bigger picture. Beyond writing, you’ll communicate with specialists and leadership to ensure documentation is meaningful and professional, and you’ll coordinate with teams to manage deadlines and address questions.
What you’ll be doing:
• Collaborate with technical specialists and leadership to develop documentation
• Write and edit technical documentation on a variety of topics
• Research client solutions and technical concepts as needed
• Communicate professionally with team members and clients
• Ensure documentation meets accessibility and quality standards
Skills/background needed:
• 3+ years of experience with technical writing
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, including styling, formatting, layout, and accessibility checks
• Experience working with technical specialists and leadership on documentation projects
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools such as PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to review, edit, and write technical documentation efficiently
• Strong professional communication skills
• Ability to conduct independent research
• Bachelor’s degree
Nice to have:
• Experience writing technical training documentation for cloud-based services
