We are looking for a writer and researcher to join our training development team. You do not need any background in a specific industry. We are looking for someone who can take detailed or technical information, understand it, and turn it into clear, accurate training content.
Entry-level candidates with strong writing and research ability are encouraged to apply. This is an opportunity to build experience in technical writing, instructional content, research, and working with writing support tools.
What You’ll Do
- Review and improve existing training content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and readability.
- Compare training materials with reference documents and feedback to identify information that needs to be updated, corrected, or clarified.
- Research unfamiliar topics and organize detailed information into clear, useful training content.
- Write and edit assessment questions, answer choices, explanations, and other instructional content.
- Support projects involving training materials, technical documentation, e-learning content, and client-specific materials.
- Use writing support tools to help with research, writing, editing, and quality review while verifying information against reliable sources.
- Collaborate with writers, developers, project managers, and other team members to complete assigned projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to understand, organize, and clearly explain detailed information.
- Ability to compare documents, identify important differences, and improve content based on available information.
- Comfortable researching and learning unfamiliar topics.
- Strong organization, time management, and ability to handle multiple assignments.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and apply feedback.
- Proficiency with word-processing and document-review tools.
- Comfort with using or learning to use writing support tools to assist with research, writing, editing, and quality review.
- Backgrounds in writing, editing, communications, instructional content, technical writing, e-learning, or related fields may be a good fit.
Job Details
Contract length: Full-time
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
