We’re seeking a Technical Writer to create clear, accurate documentation for complex engineering products. You’ll work from home, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop procedural and descriptive manuals.
What you’ll do:
Analyse, develop, and deliver technical publications for engineering products. Work closely with design and product teams to ensure documentation is accurate and user-friendly. Maintain records and reports of all documentation activities. Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to support technical publication needs.
Skills/background needed:
Experience in technical authoring is essential. Familiarity with industry-standard authoring tools and formats is required, with willingness to learn new systems. Experience in engineering or manufacturing documentation is helpful but not required. You should be comfortable working with diverse teams, maintaining a professional manner, and communicating complex information clearly. Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK is expected.
