We’re looking for an entry-level Copywriter to join our team. In this fully remote role, you’ll write compelling marketing and fundraising materials across digital and print channels—including email, web, ads, and direct mail. You’ll help shape how our audience understands our mission through clear, engaging, action-oriented writing.
What You’ll Do
Write marketing and fundraising content to advance strategic priorities across digital and print channels, including email, web, ads, direct mail, and more. Act as a brand representative by shaping audience perception through your written content. Write in a conversational, simple, and personally engaging manner that quickly answers why readers should care. Craft, review, and shape content including emails, commentary, reports, and resources to meet communication objectives. Stay informed about new developments and trends in fundraising and marketing communications.
Skills/background needed
Strong writing skills with the ability to take complex information and simplify it into powerful, engaging content that motivates people to act. Understanding of writing principles for marketing (including headlines, calls to action, and basic digital optimization). Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail. Ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Experience with email, web, or digital writing is helpful but not required—full training will be provided.
Experience with search engine optimization, website content management systems, or basic HTML is a bonus but not necessary. Any background in fundraising copywriting, email marketing, or proposal writing is valuable but not required.
