We’re looking for an enthusiastic writer to create engaging sports coverage including features, event reporting, and athlete profiles. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone starting their writing career.
You’ll develop daily content across multiple formats, build relationships with sources, and meet regular deadlines. Full training will be provided, and you’ll work flexible hours with occasional evening or weekend shifts to match sports schedules.
What you’ll do:
Write sports features, breaking news stories, and event coverage
Conduct interviews and develop reliable sources
Coordinate content across print and digital platforms
Manage special sports projects and assignments
Meet publishing deadlines consistently
Skills/background needed:
No prior journalism experience required – we provide full training
Strong writing, grammar, and spelling skills
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and conversation
Reliable and able to meet deadlines
College degree preferred but not required
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
