We are seeking a detail-oriented Specification Writer to support technical documentation and design analysis for equipment installations. This is a fully remote role where you’ll work from home and collaborate with a distributed team.
What You’ll Do:
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and technical standards
• Create detailed material lists and floor plan documentation
• Develop lighting, cooling, cabling, and grounding plans
• Ensure all designs meet customer and industry standards
• Provide technical support through project completion
• Use design software and Microsoft Office to document installations
• Generate accurate material lists and technical specifications
Skills/background needed:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings
• Experience with design software (AutoCAD preferred, but not required)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (for occasional site visits)

Contract length: Full-time, ongoing
