Social Media Manager & Content Creator – Part Time Remote

About the role

We’re looking for an entry-to-intermediate level social media manager to help tell our organisation’s story, engage our community, and support communications and program efforts across digital platforms. This is a part-time remote position (approximately 10 hours per week).

What you’ll do

Social Media & Content

Manage and grow our presence across social platforms

Create engaging content including photos, graphics, video, and copy that reflects our brand and mission

Plan and maintain a consistent content calendar

Communications & Donor Engagement

Write and design newsletters

Support community engagement and stewardship through digital channels

Partner with the communications team to create materials for events and campaigns, including flyers and promotional content

Website & Brand

Maintain and update the organisation’s website

Ensure consistent branding across all platforms and materials

Community Stories

Meet regularly with community leaders and entrepreneurs to gather stories, updates, and content opportunities

Provide feedback and input on organisational projects and initiatives

Skills/background needed

Entry-level to intermediate experience in social media, content creation, or communications (or equivalent learning from personal projects)

Comfortable with Canva and Outlook

Experience or willingness to use AI tools to support your workflow—while bringing your own creative direction and voice

Strong written communication skills

Organised, self-directed, and comfortable working independently from home

Enthusiasm for the organisation’s mission and genuine interest in the stories of the communities we support

Ongoing part-time, approximately 10 hours per week
