We are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-focused professional to help plan, coordinate, and promote engaging events while supporting marketing and branding initiatives. This role combines event coordination with social media and marketing support, giving you the opportunity to work across multiple disciplines in a dynamic environment.
You’ll thrive working from home, managing event logistics alongside creative marketing tasks. The role involves organizing events—from planning and vendor coordination to promoting them across social media and email—while building relationships with sponsors, guests, and community partners. You’ll support budget tracking, content creation, and promotional campaigns that drive attendance and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and coordinate events from start to finish, including logistics, vendor selection, budgets, timelines, and on-site execution
• Create and manage promotional content across social media, email, and event calendars to increase awareness and attendance
• Build relationships with sponsors, donors, and community partners
• Manage event budgets and track spending against goals
• Hire, coordinate, and direct event staff and volunteers with clear instructions and timelines
• Collaborate with team members and partners to ensure smooth event setup and delivery
• Support general marketing campaigns and brand-awareness initiatives
Skills/background needed
No prior experience required. Full training will be provided. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and comfortable multitasking. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a results-focused approach. Experience with social media platforms, Google Docs, email marketing, or basic event planning is helpful but not essential. Ability to manage multiple projects and work toward tight deadlines is key.
