Role: Live Stream Host & Social Media Personality
About This Role
We are seeking an energetic, confident, and engaging Live Stream Host to represent a growing beauty and hair-care brand across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms. In this role, you will be one of the faces of the brand, bringing products and brand stories to life through engaging live streams, product demonstrations, tutorials, and short-form video content.
This is a work-from-home opportunity perfect for someone who loves social media, content creation, and connecting directly with customers. You will host live shopping sessions, demonstrate products on camera, educate viewers, and help drive engagement and sales in a friendly, authentic way.
What You’ll Do
• Host engaging live-streaming sessions across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, featuring beauty and hair-care products
• Demonstrate products on camera and clearly explain their features, ingredients, benefits, and proper use
• Educate viewers about hair-care routines, scalp care, styling, and product recommendations in a conversational way
• Respond to live comments and product questions in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner
• Create an energetic, engaging live-shopping environment while maintaining an authentic, trustworthy presentation style
• Create short-form videos, product demonstrations, tutorials, before-and-after content, and promotional clips for social media
• Follow brand messaging and product information guidelines provided by the team
• Work with the team to develop live-stream themes, scripts, demonstrations, and content ideas
• Review live-stream performance metrics to help improve future sessions
• Maintain a professional and visually appealing on-camera setup with appropriate lighting, sound, and background
• Stay informed about beauty, hair-care, and social-commerce trends
Skills We’re Looking For
On-Camera Presence
• Confident, energetic, and comfortable speaking on camera
• Strong personality with the ability to keep viewers interested during longer live sessions
• Excellent verbal communication and storytelling skills
• Ability to explain products naturally and conversationally
• Comfortable answering customer questions in real time
• Friendly, approachable, and professional presentation style
Beauty & Hair-Care Knowledge
Experience or strong interest in one or more of the following is helpful:
• Hair care, natural hair, or curly and textured hair
• Scalp care or hair-growth routines
• Beauty products or personal care
You don’t need to be a hairstylist or licensed professional—we will provide full training on products, ingredients, and approved messaging.
Social Media & Content Creation
• Comfortable using TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social platforms
• Experience with TikTok Live, Instagram Reels, or Facebook Live is a bonus
• Ability to help create content outside of live sessions, including product demonstrations, tutorials, and promotional videos
• Basic familiarity with video creation tools like Canva or CapCut is helpful but not required
Sales & Customer Focus
• Ability to guide customers from curiosity to purchase in a natural, authentic way
• Confidence recommending products based on customer needs
• Comfortable combining education, entertainment, and sales into engaging content
Preferred Experience
• Previous live-streaming or on-camera experience
• Beauty, hair-care, or retail sales experience
• User-generated content creation or influencer experience
• Strong social media presence or portfolio
• Reliability and ability to consistently attend scheduled live sessions
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Paid, part-time role
