Social Media & Content Strategist – Remote Entry Level

About the role

We’re looking for an entry-level Social Media & Content Strategist to lead consumer growth and acquisition. You’ll work directly with leadership to build and run our paid social campaigns, create content that converts, and develop organic channels that reduce acquisition costs over time.

This is a hands-on position where you’ll own the full funnel: paid advertising, creative production, landing pages, email campaigns, and organic social growth. You’ll work from home with full autonomy and direct access to decision-makers. There’s no manager between you and the strategy—you’ll help write the playbook from day one.

What you’ll do

Paid social campaigns
Run paid advertising campaigns on social platforms, starting with Meta. You’ll manage audience targeting, bidding strategies, and budget allocation. You’ll brief and create video content, write ad copy and hooks, and run weekly creative tests to find what works.

Content and creative production
Brief and produce user-generated content, short-form video, and static creative at volume. Write compelling hooks and headlines, manage a testing calendar, and iterate fast—weekly cycles, not quarterly campaigns.

Landing pages and funnels
Build and test landing pages, quizzes, checkout flows, and booking pages. Optimise the full customer journey from ad click to first interaction.

Performance tracking
Own the dashboard and reporting. Track spend, cost-per-acquisition, click-through rates, trial signups, retention, and payback by channel and cohort. Report weekly without being asked.

Organic channels
Grow organic social on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts using the same winning hooks from paid. Build out content libraries for search visibility. Manage email and SMS campaigns to support the full funnel. Engage in communities where your audience already hangs out.

Automation and AI
Use AI tools to automate research, content variations, performance reporting, and repetitive account work. You’ll be expected to continuously improve your own efficiency—if AI isn’t already part of how you work, this role may not be the right fit.

Skills and background needed

• 2–4 years running paid social campaigns for a consumer product (e-commerce, subscription, or app)
• Hands-on experience managing paid social budgets and accounts directly—not through an agency
• Ability to discuss campaign performance and troubleshoot results
• Strong writing skills—most of this work is copy that lands with people on their phones
• Comfort with fast iteration, weekly testing cycles, and learning from failure
• Experience with organic social, SEO, or content you’ve grown yourself
• Ability to read analytics and think both creatively and analytically
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation (or eagerness to learn and implement them)
• Genuine interest in health, fitness, wellness, or behaviour change

Bonus experience
• Work in health, fitness, wellness, or telehealth sectors
• Video editing or content creation skills
• Running subscription funnels where retention and payback matter
• Building your own automation workflows or scripts
• Familiarity with creator or user-generated content pipelines

Tools you’ll use
Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads, Google Analytics, landing page builders, email marketing software, social media management platforms, video editing software, AI writing and image generation tools, and data tracking platforms.
