About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to help lead, develop, and execute social media management and engagement strategies. You’ll work closely with marketing and design teams to launch social campaigns, scale reach across platforms, and expand our audience. In this role, you’ll create original written content, plan daily, weekly, and monthly social campaigns, and optimize content for various social channels and communities.
Responsibilities
• Handle daily social media operations and ensure smooth execution across all channels
• Foster and maintain a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and engaging with followers
• Organize and host community events and engagement activities to deepen audience connection
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics to identify trends and refine strategies
• Develop and execute a content calendar with creative posts, visuals, and videos that align with brand voice
• Stay informed about industry trends to drive innovative community strategies
Skills/background needed
• Experience in social media marketing, content creation, copywriting, and community engagement
• Familiarity with major social channels including X/Twitter, Discord, and YouTube
• Knowledge of social media publishing tools and analytics platforms
• Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with diverse audiences
• Creative writing skills are a plus
• No prior experience required – full training will be provided
