Social Media & Content Coordinator – Part Time Remote

About the Role

We’re a content production company creating long-form and short-form video content across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. We work with a lean, collaborative team and are looking for someone to help keep our operations running smoothly while supporting our content creators.

This is a part-time position (10–20 hours per week to start) with potential to grow as the role expands. You’ll work fully remote and report directly to the founder and host.

What You’ll Do

Primary responsibilities:

• Review draft video edits and provide clear, specific feedback on hooks, b-roll, captions, and overall quality

• Turn around reviews within 24 hours (12 hours preferred) so our editing team stays on track

• Manage the revision cycle from draft to publish-ready content

• Assign projects to editors based on their strengths and experience

• Maintain day-to-day communication with editors, set deadlines, and ensure quality standards are met

• Support hiring for new editors by conducting outreach, reviewing test edits, and providing feedback

Also core to the role:

• Write descriptions and thumbnail copy for reels and episodes

• Decide what content gets posted and when across social platforms

• Manage daily communications using team chat, project tracking tools, Google Docs, and email

As the role grows, you may also:

• Support pre-episode prep including guest research and logistics

• Maintain the posting calendar across all platforms

• Organize files, track editor progress, and manage timelines

• Create email and blog content for related projects

What We’re Looking For

• Someone who moves fast and doesn’t let tasks sit idle

• Comfortable working with AI tools as part of your daily workflow

• An eye for what performs well on social content, not just technical edit quality

• Able to follow and maintain standard operating procedures

• Clear, direct written communicator

• Self-directed and comfortable making decisions about how to approach tasks

• Bonus: familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok performance metrics

Skills/background needed: No prior experience required. We provide full training. Familiarity with social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) is helpful but not essential. You should be comfortable learning new tools quickly and working independently.

Contract length: Part Time, ongoing with potential to expand

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Location: Remote – work from anywhere
