We’re hiring a Social Media Analyst to join our strategy team and own social analytics, including recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and social listening.
The ideal candidate is ready to learn best practices in analytics and is comfortable with rigorous quality assurance. You should be able to clearly document and defend your methodology, assumptions, benchmarks, and conclusions.
What you’ll do
• Own recurring and ad hoc cross-platform social reporting and analysis
• Build and maintain analytics dashboards and reporting workflows
• Support social listening using industry-standard tools
• Manage tagging, taxonomy, and content classification
• Establish meaningful benchmarks across platforms, formats, and campaigns
• Translate data into clear, evidence-based insights and strategic recommendations
• Maintain clear documentation of sources, methodology, assumptions, and limitations
• Independently prioritize requests and manage the day-to-day analytics workflow
What we’re looking for
• Direct experience in social analytics and social performance reporting across multiple platforms
• Hands-on experience with analytics dashboards and workflow-building
• Familiarity with social listening platforms
• Understanding of platform-specific metrics, benchmarking, and tagging
• Basic statistical knowledge and strong analytical thinking
• Experience working within established analytics processes, including quality assurance
• Strong written communication and ability to translate analysis into clear storytelling
• Comfortable having your work reviewed and questioned
• Able to work independently while thoughtfully challenging assumptions
