We are seeking an Entry Level Science Writer to join our team. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone early in their career who is eager to develop their technical writing skills and make an impact in the scientific community.
In this role, you will create engaging technical content, presentations, and marketing materials that help customers understand complex scientific products and their real-world applications. You’ll work collaboratively with design and engineering teams, learn about cutting-edge technologies, and develop expertise in communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
What You’ll Do:
Content Creation: Write clear, accurate technical descriptions, application guides, and marketing materials that help customers make informed purchasing decisions. You’ll learn to translate complex technical information into accessible content.
Project Management: Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, from concept to completion. You’ll use standard content management and editing tools to organize your work and meet deadlines consistently.
Collaboration: Work with graphic designers, marketing teams, and engineers to gather information and create presentations, images, and videos. Strong communication skills will help you understand project requirements and deliver excellent results.
Website Content: Contribute to website updates and product documentation that improve the customer experience. You’ll help organize and present information clearly so customers can easily find what they need.
Continuous Learning: Stay curious about new products, technologies, and industry trends. You’ll have opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and grow your expertise over time.
Skills/background needed: A bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (Physics, Optics, or similar) or equivalent professional experience. Strong writing and communication skills in English. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple projects at once and meet deadlines. Willingness to learn new technologies and tools. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
