Roles: We are looking for a remote Technical Documentation Writer to turn notes from engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts into clear, accurate documents. This is a beginner-friendly role with full training provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
What you will do:
• Write and maintain project documents, requirements, and design write-ups from discovery sessions and team input
• Record test plans, validation methods, and results in clear reports that reviewers can follow
• Create hand-off packages such as runbooks, administrator guides, known limitations, and checklists
• Build data dictionaries and data set documentation covering sources, fields, definitions, and approved uses
• Edit technical analyses into plain language for non-technical readers while keeping them accurate
• Interview engineers and subject matter experts to verify accuracy, and manage reviews and versions
• Keep the document library current using shared templates and naming conventions
Skills/background needed: No experience required. Full training provided. Comfort with clear writing, attention to detail, and willingness to learn documentation tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Google Sheets, and shared drives. A helpful, curious attitude is all you need to start.
Contract length: Full time, ongoing.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Location: Remote work worldwide (English speaking preferred)
