Roles: We are looking for a beginner-friendly Event Promotion Writer to create written content that promotes upcoming virtual events and drives registrations. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with full training provided.
What you’ll do:
• Write engaging articles that promote upcoming online events
• Turn interviews with guest speakers into compelling stories
• Cover breaking news and connect it to event themes
• Create clear, on-brand content for different programmes
• Keep up with key topics and trends and explain them simply to readers
• Attend monthly virtual events, report on them, and ask relevant questions
Skills/background needed:
• No prior experience required — full training provided
• A degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field is helpful but not essential
• Strong writing skills and the ability to deliver clean copy on deadline
• Comfort using Google Docs, WordPress for basic editing, and a CRM system
• Curiosity about technology topics such as AI, cyber, and defense tech
• Comfort communicating with senior professionals
• Willingness to use AI writing tools to support efficient content production
Contract length: Full time, permanent
