We are a professional services firm seeking a Proposal Writer to join our team on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in business writing while supporting the development of proposals for a variety of clients and opportunities.
As a Proposal Writer, you will work closely with our team to research opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and ensure all deliverables meet client requirements and quality standards. No prior proposal writing experience is required—we provide full training and support to help you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze funding and business opportunities across multiple sectors
- Collaborate with team members to develop proposal strategies tailored to each opportunity
- Write and edit proposals in accordance with client requirements and company standards
- Organize and manage proposal development timelines and deliverables
- Conduct interviews and gather information from subject matter experts to support proposal writing
- Ensure proposals are clear, concise, and effectively communicate our value and services
- Work with the design team to coordinate visuals and produce professional-quality proposals
- Participate in proposal reviews and debriefings to continuously improve your work
Skills/background needed:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. We welcome applications from candidates with strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with solid time management and organizational skills. Prior proposal writing or federal contracting experience is a plus but not necessary—we provide comprehensive training for entry-level candidates.
