Are you organized, detail-oriented, and interested in learning how books move from manuscript to finished product? We’re looking for an Entry Level Production Editor to join our publishing team. You’ll work on real projects, learn industry workflows, and grow your skills in a supportive environment.
This is a fully remote position open to applicants worldwide. Full training will be provided—no prior publishing experience required.
What you’ll do:
• Assist with editorial production workflows from manuscript through final files
• Support production scheduling and track project milestones
• Coordinate copyediting, proofreading, and quality assurance reviews
• Work with design, editorial, and manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges
• Perform quality checks before files move to final stages
• Help identify ways to improve workflows and processes
• Learn from experienced team members and develop publishing knowledge
Skills/background needed:
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable learning new tools and workflows
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and basic file management
• Interest in publishing and book production
• No prior experience required—we provide full training
