Role: Medical Laboratory Scientist I

We are looking for a beginner-friendly Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and report routine laboratory tests. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with full training provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
What you will do:
Perform routine diagnostic tests and report results through the appropriate channels. Complete and record quality control checks and follow troubleshooting steps when needed. Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment and keep equipment in good condition. Report unresolved issues to a supervisor. Follow all safety standards at all times. Provide calm, courteous customer service and redirect inquiries to the right resources. Review procedure manuals, keep your technical skills current, and take part in team and continuing education meetings. Support the orientation and training of new team members.
Skills/background needed:
Comfort working with computer programs and computer-controlled equipment. Ability to handle and interpret data, multitask, and keep confidential material secure. Good laboratory technique and safety practices. Good communication, technical, and organizational skills. A science-related degree is helpful, but a willingness to learn matters most.
Work format: Fully remote, work from anywhere. Flexible scheduling with shared coverage on a rotating basis.
