Roles: Junior Business News Writer

We are looking for a beginner-friendly writer to cover business news for a general audience. No prior experience is required – full training is provided, and this is a fully remote role you can do from home.
What you’ll do
• Write daily business news for a website and email newsletters.
• Prepare a couple of in-depth stories or features on a regular schedule.
• Develop original story ideas and build relationships with sources.
• Interview business leaders and explain complex topics clearly.
• Balance daily deadlines with longer reporting projects.
• Work with editors and writers on coverage priorities.
Skills/background needed:
• A willingness to learn reporting, interviewing and source-building.
• Clear, accurate writing and good organizational skills.
• Ability to manage several assignments and meet deadlines.
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
• Basic multimedia skills are helpful but not required.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
