Financial Writer – Entry Level, Remote

We’re hiring a Financial Writer to create market news and financial content for our daily newsletter and website. This is a fully remote role—work from home and join a small, fast-moving content team.

You’ll write articles on stocks, the economy, earnings, and financial topics in plain English that everyday readers understand. No finance degree needed on day one, but genuine interest in the markets and willingness to learn fast are essential. If you’re not familiar with basic concepts like inflation, this may not be the right fit.

What you’ll do:

Write and edit daily financial news articles for our website and newsletter. Use AI tools like Claude or GPT to research faster and draft cleaner—your voice and accuracy always come first. Cover breaking market stories and contribute long-form pieces as needed. Work a flexible schedule that supports a small team.

What we’re looking for:

2+ years writing about markets, business, or economics (excellent clips with less experience are welcome). Comfort using AI daily and knowing its limits. Fast, careful writing with zero tolerance for sloppiness. You take edits well and implement them immediately. Published bylines or analytics experience are bonuses, not requirements.

Your first 90 days:

Week 1–2: Learn our writing voice by drafting daily articles. Day 30: Carry a real share of daily volume. Day 60: Write independently and cover the full newsletter. Day 90: Work trusted on any story and pitch your own ideas.

Contract type: Full-time

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Location: Remote work worldwide (English speaking preferred)
