Role: We are looking for a beginner-friendly Technical Content Writer to create clear, long-form content that explains complex topics in simple, everyday language for non-technical readers.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Around six months to start, with flexible part-time hours each month.
Responsibilities:
• Write one long-form article or guide per month using provided briefs and your own research.
• Turn notes and interviews into well-structured, easy-to-read stories.
• Suggest simple tables or diagrams that make the content clearer.
• Work with a small team through shared documents and team chat app.
• Follow provided tone and messaging guidance, and adjust based on feedback.
Skills/background needed:
• No prior experience required – full training provided.
• Comfortable writing in plain English and curious about technical topics.
• Able to organise your own work and meet deadlines.
• Open to using AI writing tools and basic editing in Google Docs.
• Willing to learn new subjects through short onboarding sessions.
Location: Remote work worldwide (English speaking preferred)
