Roles: We are looking for a beginner-friendly Science Writer to help turn research into clear, engaging content for a general audience.
What you will do:
Write and revise communications materials, including accessible summaries and short articles. Help with production timelines and keep content moving smoothly with the wider team. Create simple multimedia content and presentation materials. Support outreach by sharing research in plain, easy-to-understand language.
Skills/background needed: No prior experience required — full training is provided. You should be comfortable writing and editing in clear English. A willingness to learn how to translate complex ideas for everyday readers is key. Organised, detail-focused, and happy to collaborate with others. Basic familiarity with word processing and cloud collaboration tools is helpful but not essential.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
