We are looking for a friendly and curious person to join our news team as a Reporter. This is a great first step into journalism. No prior newsroom experience is needed, and full training is provided.
Roles: Gather and check information through interviews, observation, and research. Write clear stories in our editorial style. Shoot and edit your own video stories. Share content across digital and social media platforms. Organize material and choose the right angles, with guidance from your team.
Skills/background needed: A degree in communication, journalism, or a related field is helpful, or an equivalent amount of experience. Strong reading, writing, spelling, and grammar. Comfortable speaking clearly on camera and using camera and editing equipment. Basic social media understanding. Organized and cooperative team player.
Rate: Competitive entry-level rate, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full time, ongoing.
