We are hiring an Entry Level Copywriter to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person position based locally.
About the role
As a Copywriter, you will be the voice of our organisation, creating compelling written content across multiple platforms. You’ll conduct interviews to source authentic stories, write and edit copy for print and digital channels, and ensure consistent messaging across all communications. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in content strategy, SEO best practices, and cross-team collaboration.
What you’ll do
• Conduct interviews and gather stories from various stakeholders for internal and external use
• Write and edit content for newsletters, brochures, social media, blogs, and marketing campaigns
• Maintain brand voice and style consistency across all written communications
• Research keywords and apply SEO best practices to increase content visibility
• Collaborate with design and video teams on creative projects
• Track content performance and use data to improve future writing
• Support communications planning and strategy
• Attend team meetings and participate in collaborative projects
Skills and background needed
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to write for different audiences
• Ability to conduct interviews and draw out authentic stories
• Familiarity with editorial style guides (AP, Chicago, or similar)
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices
• Comfortable using digital collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and similar platforms
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency
• Collaborative team player with good communication skills
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Comfortable working in a team environment
