We are seeking a Contributing Writer to join our media team. In this role, you will craft compelling stories, produce engaging content, and contribute to a diverse range of digital journalism projects. Your storytelling skills will help us deliver high-quality articles across multiple platforms. Duties
Research and develop original story ideas that resonate with audiences across various topics and formats
Write clear, accurate, and engaging articles adhering to journalistic standards
Produce multimedia content including photography, video clips, and short videos for social media platforms and online publication
Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency before publication
Fact-check information thoroughly to ensure credibility and reliability of all published material
Collaborate with editors, videographers, photographers, and social media managers to create cohesive content campaigns
Manage social media communication by sharing content effectively across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
Skills/background needed: No prior professional experience required. We welcome applicants with a strong interest in journalism and storytelling. You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to research thoroughly, and experience producing written content or multimedia projects (portfolio appreciated but not required). Basic experience with video production or visual storytelling is a bonus. You must be comfortable working under deadlines and collaborating with a team.
