We are seeking a Contributing Writer to join our media team. In this role, you will craft compelling stories and produce engaging content across digital journalism projects. You’ll develop your storytelling skills while working in a collaborative environment dedicated to impactful storytelling.
Responsibilities:
• Research and develop original story ideas across various topics and formats
• Write clear, accurate, and engaging articles adhering to journalistic standards
• Produce multimedia content including video clips and short videos for social media and online publication
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
• Fact-check information to ensure credibility of published material
• Collaborate with editors, videographers, and social media managers on content campaigns
• Share content across platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience required. Full training provided. You’ll need strong written communication skills, the ability to research thoroughly, and comfort working to tight deadlines. Experience in video production is a bonus but not essential. A portfolio of writing samples is helpful but not required to apply.
