Position Summary
We’re looking for an entry-level Content Writer to join our Marketing and Communications team. You’ll help create and manage website content, blog posts, and email campaigns that reach our audience. This is a fully remote role perfect for someone starting their writing career—no prior experience required, and full training will be provided.
You’ll work on diverse writing projects including optimizing web content for search engines, writing engaging blog posts, and crafting email campaigns. You’ll also support the broader marketing team with copywriting, editing, and content quality checks.
What You’ll Do
Write and optimize web copy for search engine visibility. Research and write blog posts aligned with marketing strategy. Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and style consistency. Write marketing emails and support email campaign implementation. Manage website content updates and ensure brand consistency across all platforms. Support creative writing projects including website copy, articles, press releases, and digital marketing materials. Work on multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Skills/background needed
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Familiarity with search engine optimization basics. Understanding of email marketing best practices. Experience or comfort using content management systems and email marketing platforms. Knowledge of AP style guidelines is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under deadlines. Analytical and organizational skills. We provide training on all tools and systems you’ll use.
What We’re Looking For
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, ideally with course work in marketing, communications, writing, or a related field. Some experience with content management systems or email marketing platforms is helpful but not required. Enthusiasm for writing and willingness to learn new tools and strategies.
