We are adding a Junior Guides Writer to our fully remote team. In this role, you will focus on plain-language guides that help people understand their everyday services. Full training is provided, so no prior experience is needed.
What you will do
• Write and edit guides, emails, and web pages in clear, simple language.
• Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it.
• Keep existing content accurate and easy to find.
• Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing.
• Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles.
What we are looking for
• Strong editing habits.
• A portfolio of clear, practical writing.
• Curiosity about how things work.
Nice to have
• Basic search engine optimisation knowledge.
• Any experience with meter readings is a plus.
Work format
This is a contract role expected to last around eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. It is fully remote, so you can work from home or anywhere that suits you.
