Roles: Grant research and proposal writing support
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, roughly 6 to 8 weeks
We are looking for a beginner-friendly grant writer to support our team on a fully remote basis. No prior experience is required, and full training is provided.
You will work from home and help identify funding opportunities, shape persuasive proposals, and keep reporting aligned with what funders expect. This is a great fit for someone organized, curious, and eager to learn grant writing from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
• Research and recommend potential funders whose criteria match our work
• Help customize grant proposals for different reviewers and donors
• Support the team in aligning reporting with funder expectations
Skills/background needed:
• Willingness to learn grant writing and fundraising research
• Comfort with written communication and basic documents
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed timelines
• Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Zoom is a plus
Work format: Approximately 3 to 5 hours per week, fully remote. All communication takes place through video calls, email, and shared drives.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
