Are you a writer interested in helping build community and drive engagement? We’re looking for an entry-level content writer to create compelling messaging for alumni audiences across email, digital campaigns, social media, and print materials. No prior fundraising experience required—we provide full training.
What you’ll do:
Write clear, inspiring content designed to encourage alumni participation and giving. Work across multiple channels—email campaigns, social media posts, digital pages, direct mail, and special initiatives. Collaborate with the alumni relations and communications teams to create timely, targeted messages that build pride and connection.
Skills/background needed:
Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing, or related field. At least two years of professional writing experience (any sector). Strong writing and editing skills with ability to adapt tone and voice for different audiences. Familiarity with AP Style preferred. Interest in learning about alumni engagement and fundraising communications. Comfortable working with email platforms and basic digital tools.
Contract length: Permanent full-time
