We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and help create clear, accurate documentation that helps users understand complex systems. This role involves developing and maintaining technical documentation, including user guides, system design documents, and implementation plans.
You’ll work with technical teams to gather information, organize it clearly, and produce documentation that meets quality standards. You’ll also help maintain and update documentation as systems change, and support the creation of training materials.
What you’ll be doing:
• Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation including user guides, system design documents, and implementation plans
• Work with software engineers, system engineers, and other technical staff to gather and organize information
• Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and follows established guidelines and standards
• Update and maintain documentation as systems are enhanced or modified
• Create and manage documents including flowcharts, diagrams, and other system materials
• Support the development of training materials to help users understand systems
• Maintain quality standards across all documentation
• Document meeting minutes and progress updates
• Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting of documentation progress
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Basic understanding of IT systems and software development processes
