About the role
You’ll write 3–4 articles per month for business and finance clients. Each article is typically 2,000–3,000 words and involves research, interviews with subject matter experts, and multiple rounds of editing. You’ll work through a structured process: complete a brief, write an outline, draft your piece, and incorporate feedback across two rounds of edits.
Responsibilities
Write well-researched articles based on interviews and desk research; edit content based on feedback; complete briefs and outlines before drafting; learn about clients, their products, and their target audiences.
Skills/background needed
No background in business or finance required—we’ll teach you what you need to know. We’re looking for writers who are curious, detail-oriented, logical, and eager to improve. You should enjoy research, ask questions when you don’t understand something, and be open to feedback and new processes. You’ll work independently and meet deadlines.
Work format
Fully remote, freelance. Work on your own schedule as long as articles are delivered on time. Initial training period, then potential for long-term contract or full-time position.
