Roles:
Write and revise travel content on topics such as budget travel, bucket-list trips, family travel, transportation news, and first-person stories. Work with editors to shape storytelling approaches. Use tools like Google Trends to spot trending topics and track performance. Team up with editors and digital teams to refine content and prepare it for publication. Add source notes to support fact-checking. Suggest relevant charts, maps, and graphics. Follow search best practices to help content get found. Draft headlines and manage content schedules.
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience necessary — full training is provided. A genuine interest in travel and storytelling helps. Comfortable writing in clear, straightforward language. Willingness to learn content tools and search basics. Good communication and teamwork skills.
