We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our engineering team. In this role, you’ll translate complex system designs and operational procedures into clear, accurate technical documentation that engineers and operators rely on every day. You’ll work with experienced engineers in a fully remote environment, learning as you go and building documentation from concept through to completion.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Write and maintain technical manuals, operator guides, standard operating procedures, and deployment documentation
• Create system design documents, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides
• Translate technical engineering concepts into clear, standardized documentation
• Develop installation guides, troubleshooting guides, and recovery procedures
• Establish documentation templates and maintain version control across documents
• Participate in design reviews and verify procedures to ensure accuracy
• Manage documentation in shared repositories
Skills/background needed
• Strong technical writing skills with ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Basic familiarity with Linux environments, cloud computing, and networking concepts (training provided)
• Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar diagramming tools preferred
• Comfort learning documentation management systems and version control
• Attention to detail and ability to work with technical teams
