We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team on a fully remote, work-from-home basis. This entry-level role focuses on creating clear, accurate maintenance documentation for mechanical and electrical equipment, and full training is provided.
You will work closely with engineers and technical experts to turn technical information into simple, step-by-step instructions used to maintain, repair, and replace equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong writing skills and a curious, technical mindset who wants to learn documentation standards as they go.
Responsibilities:
Write and update technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and component replacement instructions for mechanical and electrical systems. Work with engineers and subject matter experts to translate technical data and design details into clear, easy-to-follow documentation. Review documentation for accuracy, consistency, and clarity. Track document revisions and updates to keep versions organised. Incorporate feedback to improve documentation quality and usability.
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience required – full training provided. Strong writing skills and a technical mindset are helpful. Comfort working with engineers and detailed information is a plus. Organisational and editing skills are welcome.
Contract length:
Ongoing, with potential to move into a permanent role.
