Technical Writer – Quality Control Entry Level

About the Role

You will be joining a quality control team responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining documentation processes. This is an entry-level position where you’ll support quality assurance personnel by creating clear, well-organised technical documents. You’ll work as part of a growing team committed to establishing high standards in operational documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Design and maintain the document creation and revision process for quality control documents

• Review quality control documents to ensure clear, reader-friendly language

• Support other writers in the documentation process, including language usage and document control

• Collaborate across departments and maintain relationships with stakeholders

• Coach and mentor colleagues in writing standards and good communication practices

• Participate in document governance groups and process workshops

• Contribute to quality control standardisation projects

• Support document revisions and ensure projects meet timelines and quality metrics

Skills/background needed

• Ability to read, write, and understand complex documentation and standard operating procedures

• Strong attention to detail and focus on clarity

• Excellent communication skills with various stakeholders

• Ability to work in an open office environment

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

No prior technical writing experience is required – full training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
