About the role:
This is an entry-level position in a facilities operations environment where you’ll develop and implement business processes that improve workflow and enable efficient management. You’ll work in a structured team setting with clear instructions and well-organized information systems. No prior experience is required—we provide full training on utility systems and equipment.
Your day-to-day work will involve creating, writing, updating, and maintaining a range of operational documents including standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, training materials, operational bulletins, and process documentation. You’ll also help develop key performance indicators, support training programmes, and assist in organizing and archiving facility information.
What we’re looking for:
You should be self-driven and comfortable learning technical details by reading manuals, consulting with equipment manufacturers, conducting field inspections, and collaborating with team members. Strong technical writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to organize information clearly and concisely are essential. You should express yourself well both in writing and verbally, demonstrate active listening, and be comfortable presenting to groups.
We value candidates who can work independently with moderate supervision, anticipate changing priorities, balance short-term needs with long-term vision, and foster a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture.
Skills/background needed:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Strong technical writing ability with experience organizing complex information into clear, understandable documents. Comfortable with public speaking and presenting information to groups. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Experience working in an industrial or technical environment is a plus but not required. We’ll train you on everything else.
