We’re looking for an entry-level Technical Writer to join our team on a fully remote basis. This is a contract role perfect for someone starting out in technical writing. No prior experience required – we’ll provide full training and support.
What you’ll do:
You’ll gather information, write, and update training materials, user documentation, and technical guides. You’ll conduct interviews to understand what needs to be documented, work with development teams to identify documentation needs, and organize technical information into clear, accessible procedures. You’ll develop a basic understanding of the products and systems you’re documenting as you go.
Skills/background needed:
Some writing experience is helpful, but we welcome beginners willing to learn. Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or SharePoint is a bonus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly will take you far. Experience with AI writing tools is a plus but not required.
