We are seeking an entry-level Technical Writer to create user manuals and technical documentation for our clients. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone new to technical writing who is eager to learn and develop their skills.
Roles: You will write, compose, design and layout technical publications including operations manuals, parts lists, and illustrations. You’ll prepare drawings and equipment layouts based on technical standards, and work with design software to create clear, professional documentation that helps users understand and operate equipment effectively.
What You’ll Do:
- Write and design technical publications such as operation manuals and training instructions
- Create illustrations and prepare equipment layouts
- Work with design software to convert and revise drawings
- Compose clear, well-organized documentation for various audiences
Skills/background needed: This role is entry-level and full training will be provided. Ideally, you’ll have some familiarity with design or technical software, but enthusiasm to learn is most important. Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, AutoCAD, or similar design tools is a plus, but not required. Basic writing and composition skills, comfort with Microsoft Word and spreadsheet programs, and an interest in technical subjects are what we’re looking for.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, ongoing
