We’re looking for an entry-level technical writer to join our team on a fully remote basis. You’ll create and edit technical documentation, working with subject matter experts to produce clear, accurate manuals and guides.
What you’ll do:
Author, edit, and develop technical documentation covering equipment maintenance, operation, repair, and troubleshooting. Work from source materials including engineering data and maintenance plans. Create and update XML documentation, learning tag structure and application as you go. Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather information and validate content. Proofread documents for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Develop document outlines and incrementally build, review, and refine content.
What we’re looking for:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfort with Microsoft Word and basic desktop publishing software. A team-oriented, self-motivated approach. No prior technical writing experience required—we provide full training.
Contract length: Full-time
