We’re looking for a detail-oriented writer to help create and maintain technical specification documents for construction and architectural projects. This is a fully remote role perfect for someone starting their career in technical writing.
What you’ll do:
You’ll create, review, and maintain specification documents and guidance notes. You’ll write clear, accurate technical content for construction projects, support colleagues across different teams with specification questions, and deliver training sessions to help others improve their writing. You’ll also work with design and modelling software to ensure specifications align with project needs.
Skills and experience you’ll need:
You should have some background in architectural or construction work, with experience writing technical specifications. Knowledge of UK building regulations is important. You’ll need strong written communication skills, the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, and experience with specification software. Full training will be provided on any tools you haven’t used before.
